DIRECTIONS TO A.B. CHANDLER FIELD: WOODFORD COUNTY PARK
(BOTH FIELDS)
Take New
Circle Road to the Versailles exit (Airport/Keeneland Race
Track) follow Versailles Road into the city limits of
Versailles. You will see a shopping center on your left
(Kroger/Kmart) the next stoplight past the shopping center,
go straight through you will then come to a T-intersection
at the light take a left (Main St.) go to the next stop
light take a right (Rose Hill). Follow the road until it
forks bear off to your left (at the fork a sign on your
right reads (Woodford County Park with an arrow pointing to
your left) this road will take you to the parks entrance,
Chandler field is on your left.
DIRECTIONS TO TATES CREEK HIGH SCHOOL
Coming from Nicholasville Rd ...
Take Nicholasville Road to Man-O-War. Take a left on to
Man-O-War if heading away from town or a right if heading
towards town. Take Man-O-War until the Armstrong Mill Road
stop light, at the light turn left. Continue down Armstrong
Mill until the stop light, turn right at the light on to
Appian Way. Continue until the stop sign where you take a
left at Centre Pkwy. Turn right by the Marathon gas
station and this leads to Tates Creek at the stop sign take
a right and continue to the field.
Coming from Richmond Rd ...
Take New Circle Road (across from Lexington Mall beside a
Mercedes dealer) to Tates Creek exit. At the stop light
take a left. Go to the second light and take a left onto
Gainesway. Then go to the first four way stop and take a
right onto Greentree. At the next stop sign take a left and
Tates Creek High School campus is straight ahead. The field
is behind the school going towards the little league fields.
DIRECTIONS TO HENRY CLAY HIGH SCHOOL
Coming from Nicholasville Rd
...
Take New Circle Road to Richmond Rd exit. At the stop light
take a left. Heading towards downtown Lexington. Go to
the third stop light and take a left onto Fontaine Rd. (Fazoli’s
will be on your right). Go up the hill until you reach the
first four-way stop and take a left. School entrance will
be on your left, ball field is straight back.
DIRECTIONS TO DUNBAR HIGH SCHOOL
Take New Circle to
Harrodsburg Rd. Exit. Go away from downtown to Man-O-War
Rd. Right on Man-O-War, field 1/2 mile on left. Field
is a little past the school on the left up on a hill. (sign
approaching field will be on your left). If you get in any
trouble with directions it is very close to the Airport.
(Bluegrass Airport and Keeneland)
DIRECTIONS TO LAFAYETTE HIGH SCHOOL
Take New Circle Rd to
Nicholasville Rd. Take Nicholasville Rd towards town. Turn
left onto Southland Dr. Follow Southland Drive until it
stops at a four way light go straight through the light and
that runs into Lafayette High School. Field is on
the right side of the school behind the tennis courts.
