Our first outdoor meet was a huge success!  The team participated in the Patriot Relays at EKU.  Highlights include:

• Bridget Stichnot, Madalyn Stichnot, Courtney Hatch, and Betsy Goodin setting the school record for the 3200m relay!
• James Coleman ran in his first 800m run with a split time of 2:10.  He led our victorious relay squad.
• Derrick Brown set a personal record in the pole vault - winning the event with a vault of 13-06. Combined with Andrew Wright's vault of 8-0, they won the event.
• Michael Stone competed in his first outdoor meet.  His high jump of 6-0 won the individual title.  Combined with Ben Smyth's jump of 5-8, they won the relay event.
• Julianne Norman set a personal record in the high jump.  She won the individual title with a jump of 4-8.
• Samson Lam has established himself as a premier 9th grade thrower as he threw the shot 36 feet and the discus 101 feet.
