2007 Regional Results,

The track season is winding down.  Yesterday, we traveled to Ashland to finish the Regional Meet.  Our Tates Creek athletes broke through and shined.  Many athletes qualified for the state track meet next week at PLD.  In team scores, the boys placed 3^rd while the girls squeaked out a 2^nd place trophy.

State Qualifying Athletes and their event/place

Boys:

800m:   Daniel Norman (2^nd place)

1600m: Daniel Norman (1^st Place – nice picture in the paper.  This was the first time he had beaten Cullen Kuntz of WC). 

1600m:  Mark Flores (3^rd Place – Mark will probably qualify for the state meet based upon his time)

1600m Relay: Derrick Brown, James Coleman, Daniel Norman, and Ty Sparks (2^nd place)

3200m Relay:  James Coleman, Ty Sparks, Mark Flores, and Daniel Norman (1^st place)

Pole Vault:  Derrick Brown (1^st Place)

Girls:

High Jump:  Julianne Norman (2^nd place)

200m:  Natasha Druggan (1^st place)

400m:  Natasha Druggan (1^st place)

800m:  Betsy Goodin (1^st place)

3200m:  Bridget Stichnot (2^nd place)

1600m Relay:  Zephir Griffin, Courtney Hatch, Natasha Druggan, and Betsy Goodin (1^st place)

3200m Relay:  Bridget Stichnot, Courtney Hatch, Madalyn Stichnot, and Betsy Goodin (2^nd  place)
